How wet were they when you had to go home? They are faaaaaasssssstttttt!
BobBIE, the dog-friendly beach where I like to take them now has a self-serve dog wash! Very convenient for rinsing off sand or washing with yummy smelling shampoo! They even have a dog blow-dryer!
