Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack!

Well, peanuts and beer anyway.

It was a good day for baseball! Annette and I had a fabulous time in the OC, sitting in the sun, drinking beer (just one of us), eating peanuts, and watching the National Pastime.

It was actually a fun whole weekend. On Saturday we drove down, after doing some shopping. Annette took this pic out the window of the car.

After checking into the hotel, we used Yelp to find a good nearby restaurant and hit on a hamburger joint that had:

Coca-Cola Freestyle is a cool touchscreen Coke dispenser. You get to choose your base soda first, from of this collection:

 Then, select your flavorings:

Cherry, Orange, Vanilla,  Raspberry, Lime, Cherry Vanilla
That was kinda fun trying a bunch of combinations.  We didn't try all 106, though. Maybe next time.

When we walked out of the restaurant, we noticed the bad-ass full moon rising. We tried to get some pictures, but it was difficult with the little camera. Annette took this one from the parking lot at the Crystal Cathedral:

Here is a shot I took. The picture is nothing to write home about, but the moon was spectacular. I hope you got to see it!

And the next day, the Main Event! We walked to the Stadium from our nearby hotel.

We had great seats, just a few rows up, on the first-base line.

One of the newest reasons to choose to watch the Los Angeles Angels at Anaheim over the Dodgers: this season's addition of Albert Pujols at First Base.

We got to see him hit his first home-run of the season!

And we both like this baby-face player, Mike Trout (age 20!).

The season is young; we look forward to enjoying more games!
